The death of this oak was too costly to be taken down by means of climbing. However, the preservation of the two small shrubs was of utmost importance. The perimeter of the drop zone was well known and measured before work began. Ground felling with great precision provided excellent economic value, preserving the shrubs with no impact. (I1, I2)
